Shipping & Returns

During the checkout process, we ask for certain personal information (name, address, e-mail, telephone number and credit card information), which are necessary to process your order and to ship it to you. Basic personal information such as name, address and phone number may be transmitted to contracted third parties for the purpose of shipping your order.

U.S. Delivery Information

The majority of our gift items including food items and specialty non-perishable gifts will be delivered via Ground Service. These gifts can only be shipped within the U.S. and Canada. These gifts†CANNOT be delivered to hospitals, PO boxes or rural routes.

We guarantee to ship your gift on the ship date specified, however, we are not responsible for time in transit. It is the customerís responsibility to choose the method of shipment necessary to get their package delivered at the desired time. All delays and/or damage in transit must be addressed with UPS. Invalid delivery dates will be changed to the first available delivery date and you will be notified via phone or email.

Delivering Wine

The Gift Horse Basket Company contracts with UPS for all of our shipping needs. When shipping wine baskets, boxed wines, wine caddies or any gifts containing wine, UPS will require an adult signature for delivery (identification will be requested).†

We cannot ship wine to the following states: Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Mississippi, Montana, New Jersey, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Tennessee or Utah.

Shipping Prices

In order to minimize your cost we will only charge you the actual shipping price that The Gift Horse Basket Company is charged to ship your products.
